Neurowave Diagnostics LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced EEG Tech Instructor to join our EEG technical training 10 months program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Neurodiagnostic Technology program, focusing on the principles and practices of electroencephalography (EEG). This role requires a strong background in EEG technology, a passion for education, and the ability to inspire and guide students in their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions on EEG technology, neurophysiology, and related topics.
- Create and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment tools, to ensure alignment with industry standards and advancements in the field.
- Mentor and guide students during clinical rotations, providing feedback and support to help them develop their practical skills.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, practical evaluations, and feedback sessions.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and improve the overall educational experience for students.
- Stay current with advancements in EEG technology and practices, incorporating relevant updates into course content.
- Participate in department meetings, professional development activities, and community outreach programs as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology.
- Certification from the American Board of Registration of EEG and Epilepsy Technologists (ABRET).
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in EEG technology, with a strong understanding of neurophysiology.
- Previous teaching or instructional experience in a clinical or academic setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
Working Conditions:
- Part time faculty position with a standard academic schedule.
- May require occasional evening or weekend commitments for special events or student activities.
